History
Albert & Hummel GmbH was founded over 30 years ago in Bamberg by its managing directors, Manfred Albert and Detlef Hummel.
We are an innovative manufacturer of special machinery, automation systems, and control technology. From the conceptual development of your project to commissioning and after-sales service – we provide everything from a single source.
Our daily motivation is the satisfaction of our customers, to offer pioneering technologies and services, and to provide our team of reliable and dedicated employees with an attractive and varied workplace.

Below are some milestones on this journey
1992
Company founded by Manfred Albert and Detlef Hummel.
1992-1997
The A&H team grows, the first apprentice is hired. The new company building is occupied – the A&H team now comprises 8 people.
1997-2000
Expansion of the company building (office and production), acquisition of the first NC milling machine. The A&H team comprises 40 dedicated employees.
2000-2005
Expansion of the company premises with a new assembly hall. Expansion of production capacities with new CNC milling and CNC turning machines. The A&H team now comprises 55 dedicated employees.
2005-2010
Further expansion of the company building with a new assembly hall. The first "special machine" with a plant value of more than 1 million Euros is successfully completed. Expansion of manufacturing capacities and establishment of 3D CAD design.
2010-2015
Opening of the training workshop, expansion of the machine park with two 5-axis CNC milling machines, as well as expansion of the company building. A&H employs more than 100 dedicated employees.
2015-2020
Construction of another assembly hall, acquisition of a 3D printer, and the launch of the digitalization of company processes. In 2017, the company's 25th anniversary is celebrated.
2020-Present
Development of new fields for the production and testing of innovative energy and drive systems, as well as AI in production technology. Establishment of a development department.
