Use-Case

Semi-automatic Product Assembly with Human-Robot Collaboration

A vivid example of the application of our automation cells is the automatic assembly of a Lego car. We were allowed to implement this exciting project together with the University of Bamberg – for which we are very grateful. Our modules work seamlessly together to separate, assemble, test and finally package the individual components.

Manual Workstation

Manual assembly of components with AI-supported assembly step testing. This ensures high quality and efficiency.

Separation

The module separates and positions components precisely for subsequent assembly steps. We integrate various flexible feeding systems, suitable for your product.

Assembly

Automated assembly processes for maximum efficiency. The robot assembles the components fully automatically according to a fixed sequence.

Human-machine Collaboration

Semi-automatic assembly processes in which humans and collaborative robots (cobots) work together. This enables flexible and efficient production.

Testing

End-of-line functional testing of the assembled modules with camera inspection and weight determination. This ensures that only fault-free products are processed further.

Packaging

Automated packaging of the finished products into transport containers by robots and palletizers. This ensures safe and efficient logistics.

HMI

Intuitive HMI control – directly on the machine, as a portable tablet or accessible online for maximum user-friendliness and flexibility.
